SoFoBoMo is no more

How sad to read the announcement that SoFoBoMo is closing down. Reason: no resources for web hosting and further development. There are probably a bunch of other reasons to add, why it didn’t work out. Personally, I don’t think the web page and associated forum really took off. The straightforward way contacts were made before [...]

It’s out now, my SoFoBoMo book

– Everybody! Welcome to this wonderful release party. – Please, do visit the bar, there’s plenty of champagne, for all of us. – Join me in the celebration of my latest SoFoBoMo book. It’s about Kökar, the island where I’m partly rooted, the island on which I for a long while thought I had spent [...]

Catching the fish

Thinking of everything that has happened on these islands, of all who have lived and thrived here, from medieval times to present, it’s easy to see where the glow comes from. On the ferry

The ferry trip between Sweden and Åland, on this particular route, takes about two hours. Two hours to kill, or two hours to enjoy. It can be as depressing as it can be, or a pure joy. It depends on who you are. There are the ones that stay in Sweden over the weeks, usually [...]

Holydays

I have been totally busy, lately, with work mainly. Finally, it’s time for Holidays, and I will shortly leave for a week on Kökar, this island I visit every Summer. This year, SoFoBoMo coincide with my trip, and if I come up with an idea, I will definitely make a book. I’m sure I will, [...]

The four musketeers

This scene reminded me about the sofobomo project I made, two years ago. It was fun, definitely. This year, I’m quite confident I will participate again. The month will coincide with my trip to Åland, which is rather fortunate. Let’s see where this will take me.
