Sometimes, I have a problem with seeing the joyousness that formed this snowman. Instead I’m seeing the scream, you know this dreadful painting by Edvard Munch. It’s like my vision is all-black, while everybody else sees happy children.

I spent a year in my youth changing all fluorescent tubes in the Stockholm subway. I honestly hated it, couldn’t even talk about it for years. But now, with decades of years as filter, I can appreciate that I got to see more than the average commuter.

The little warmth that was here is now gone. A good thing with this is that this usually is accompanied by a pretty cool sky. If I lived further North, I would have had decent chances to see the North light more or less every night. That would have been cool….

There are some -5°C outdoor, not particularly Arctic but anyway. Thing is, no matter how bad the weather is, you will see a few people standing there. The cold is probably rather comfortable, if you compare with the rain that most often falls horizontally. It’s like a wind tunnel, the place. It’s apparently worth it.

It was only a week ago I asked myself whether this liquor brand were still around. The Explorer. It tastes like liquor does before it’s been quadruple distilled into some lifestyle essence. Although it does spread that body shivering warmth only a crappy liquor can, I can’t really recommend it. It gets two potatoes out of five.
