100 km each way, every day, must of course form the way one looks at distances..... :) There are people over here too, that commute that far and longer. It comes down to how much you want a specific job, or if you can't get a job at all where you live.

Ove, 70 km is right down the road for me. :-) When I lived in Texas, I had a job where I used to drive 100 km each way ... morning and evening. With things so spread out there, it didn't seem like such a big deal. Also, now that I drive some 340 km each way on the weekends, 70 seems rather short. ;-)

Intense... It's always interesting to here how other interpret ones work, and I wouldn't come up with that word myself, Earl. I'm happy you see it that way, that it evokes something making this word coming to you.

Paul, 70 km, right down the road from Earl....that's the difference between mild and harsh winters where I live... You made it sound like a short trip. :-)

Ove, I think that in your personal stuff, you should continue to express yourself as you see fit. Intense, dark, or whatever. :-) I like this shot. It looks rather like a desert to me. I'm right down the road from Earl, some 70 Km, or so, and we've accumulated a bit of snow, too. Nothing like you have, but it will suffice for winter, as far as I'm concerned. :-)

Ove, I've not viewed your photography work as being dark. I would describe some as intense but not dark. Still intense may not work for certain marketing people. ~grin~ There's also a snow storm outside my window as I write this. Winter is still beating upon our door on this side of the Atlantic as well. Have a good weekend!
