Thanks, Anneli, that was very kind of you to write. I must say that I especially enjoyed that part of the work with you, when we tried to create a common understanding of what was to be envisioned, viewing the cover. That was the true challenge.

You really listened and tried to understand my thoughts. Above all, you contributed with your own reflections, associations and feelings about the themes I wanted to express. Thanks a lot, Ray. I really think so too. During the day, I don’t think so much about who are really sitting behind the windows in their cars, but during night-time… Who are they and what do they do here, at this hour? What do they think of? And so on…

Ove this is way cool. I can’t think of anything better than walking into a bookstore and seeing an image you created on a book cover. I really like the one that was chosen, something about roads and night that makes one think.

Thanks, Earl! Choosing a picture for a book was far more difficult than for instance selecting an image for a brochure, which I do quite often. This time, the images to choose between were my own. There are also so much more feelings bound to a book cover, compared to commercial material. I’m happy she liked my pictures and felt they resonated with her writing.
