At work

Wallpaper

Not much time for photography now, and I’m all too tired in the evenings to spend time at the computer. The picture is from today; it shows one of the bedrooms. This is one of the lighter jobs, although the wallpaper looks like, okay, ‘is’ a mess. You should see the bathroom, it has been all wiped out during the weekend, including the walls… Anyway, I took time today to use the camera, and I also had energy for an hour in the evening to process them. This photograph was the only one worth sharing, yay! The others were more documentary and will probably be more interesting in a year or so, or when time permits. Time to sleep, zzzzzz.

We’ll miss your frequent posts, but look forward to seeing more of these photos letting us peek into the process you are going through. The textures in this one are fascinating. In the meantime, it’s important to get your sleep.

I don’t know how you are able to post as much as you do already! It is hard to find the time / strength / mental focus / decent pictures … to post often. I’m glad that you do, however, because I very much enjoy your blog. Peace

  3. I love your site and I’ll be back often! I feel your pain. This photography thing gets pretty addictive and I get cranky when I don’t get my ‘fix’, but sometimes, sleep rules!

Thanks, all! And, for sure, I have been posting quite a bit, lately, so it feels like something is missing me right now…
Wayne, welcome to my blog! I’m glad you enjoyed it and that you will continue visiting. :-)

Ove: The photo certainly makes a nice study, but I’m glad that I don’t have to clean it up or do the work in the first place! :-) Good luck on your various projects and I look forward to seeing what you accomplish.

Ove, what makes this a nice contrast is the lightness of the image. I like it.

Sleep is overrated. Plenty of time for sleep after you are dead. I keep chanting that to myself. :)
Like the texture and tone in this a lot. Hope it is done soon.

Thanks, guys! The photo is not an entirely true image of that room but a bit prettified… I sure hope it’s done soon, too. :)

Good luck with all that handcraft and renovation! It sure looks as if you’re right in the middle of something… ;) If the weather down at your place is similarly dull as it is in Göteborg, at least you don’t miss much outside.

Thanks, Thomas, I certainly am. Regarding the weather, it’s not any better here so I’d better stay inside, working. :-)
