- Welcome to my blog about this and that – ditt & datt in Swedish. The topics you'll find here are not always that general, though. You wont find anything on football, for instance. Moreover, all the light will most often be on photographs I made. In fact, if I tell something I find worthwhile telling, I usually stick a few of my photographs to the story. You could almost say this is about photography, and in a way you're right, it is. But it is also about what I see.

Nicely understated – has a nice flow to it.
Thanks, Karen. I worked on it to provide this fading feeling to it, as if it was a sketch.
Wonderful. I can almost smell that room. With the unobtrusivity and the minimalistic composition a whole swarm of associations, thoughts and emotions can flow through my mind.
Thanks for your kind comment, Markus. I think that you just put words on why I selected this image for the haiku.
I’d agree with Markus. There’s something about this photo that lets you “feel” this room. Very comforting.
All the vertical lines, simplicity, and symmetry accented by the few well-placed graceful curves give this a sense of restraint, stateliness, and calm. I have the sense that one would speak in a quiet voice in this room.
Thanks, Earl, it’s indeed comforting, with its soft focus and lighting.
Anita, you’re so right about this feeling that you have to speak with a quiet voice, I feel exactly the same when being there.
At the same time as it is calm and comforting, it’s like it doesn’t matter what’s behind that soft, curved corner.
