This is London, my first time in this great town. I was there with my work, they invited us to spend a weekend there. All was included, and I got to see the musical Cats. Extremely generous. I was totally excited and made quite a few photographs, among which I liked this extremely much. It contains it all, from how I experienced it, musicals and night life. The quality really sucks, but that just adds to it in my opinion.
One episode from a pub I do recall was that I was asked by a girl if I was a professional. Since I didn’t have a clue what that meant in reality (that is, working with it professionally), I might have answered: Hey, I’m twenty, how professional is that. In Swedish, professional means extremely skilled, being part of an elite of similar skilled people, not necessarily having it for a profession. This was my first time abroad where I had to use my by those times miserable school English for real… Anyway, the girl was just making a move, seeing my Nikon F2 and used that for an opening.
The photo was captured on film with a Nikon F2 and a Nikkor 35 mm/f2. The year was 1985. I scanned the film with a flat bed scanner sometime during the early 2000s. The quality of the scanned image was somewhat degraded due to the used technology, but could be improved a little by some retouch with Photoshop.

Ove, I like this photo. It has a sense of energy about it and long moments can be spent trying taking in all the details of the scene. It works!
Thanks, Earl! There’s a lot going on in it, I feel so too.
Just love the energy and texture. I agree with you the imperfections make this even better.
Thanks, Chris! I guess you saw my answer on Flickr, otherwise, you got it here.
