At last

Early morning

Autumn.

Early morning.

Sun rays that hardly cut through.

Spider webs, too heavy for the grass straws.

Everything soaked in morning mist.

Scents of fading verdure.

At last.

Ove, wonderful work capturing the early morning light and the resulting hues and tones. Great detail as well–it almost looks surreal. Excellent!

    The verse fits so well…

Thanks, Earl, it was almost surreal in reality. eh… :) I took the picture this morning, and you know I have been waiting for this, the autumn. It was perfect for photography, and just being.

Isn’t it, it’s like with sunsets. I just can’t get enough of a thick, beautiful fog. Everything gets dreamy, even the most ugly thing you could imagine.

This is stunning. I know I keep adding to the list of my favorites among your photographs, but this one has to go on the list. The subtleties of color and light are amazing. Bravo!

Thanks, Anita! I also consider this as a candidate for my better ones, definitely. This is as close as you can get to how it really was in that valley this early morning, in my eyes that said.

I know this was posted awhile ago Ove, but I am just catching up with your work. The image speaks tranquility to me, and reminds me of so many mornings being out in the field alone and having sights like this to enjoy.

I love these moments, Mark, and I had been waiting for this for quite a long time. Thanks for looking through my work, I hope you enjoy it. This way, I got a chance to get back and see this post again, and I was really surprised that I actually experienced some of the autumn. I didn’t recall this at all, strangely enough, but now it all came back. Thanks! :-)

  • Welcome to my blog about this and that – ditt & datt in Swedish. The topics you'll find here are not always that general, though. You wont find anything on football, for instance. Moreover, all the light will most often be on photographs I made. In fact, if I tell something I find worthwhile telling, I usually stick a few of my photographs to the story. You could almost say this is about photography, and in a way you're right, it is. But it is also about what I see.
