When this image was captured, summer was over. This was the feeling I had when watching this scene, this and that nothing last for ever. The garden is located in the very centre of Lund, but hidden behind street houses. I wondered where the owners were, because it all looked abandoned somehow, as if time had frozen. It all seemed in order, the chairs were put in a way they wouldn’t be that wet if the rain would come. Everything but the plants and trees, that said, making it look like the table and the chairs were floating on an ocean of greenery. The shadows were very deep, and not much sun actually came through. A rose bush hides in complete shadow, and was it not for the flowers were caught by the sun, I wouldn’t have spotted it. To me, this rose just adds beautifully to the mood in the image. Someone have been caring for this rose, someone that seems to haven’t been there for a very long while. Where did everything go?
