On my way home I passed this tunnel today. To my surprise were a few girls on their way to set-up a photo exhibition on the walls of the tunnel. The pictures seemed to be some kind of travel pictures, taken by young people where everybody had to be in the picture, as self-portraits, but friend-portraits, you probably know what I mean. I told them this was a fantastic idea, and they seemed to be happy with it too. I really think this was a good idea, and liked their enthusiasm and entrepreneur-ship. Young people are good at this. Some, anyway.
- Welcome to my blog about this and that – ditt & datt in Swedish. The topics you'll find here are not always that general, though. You wont find anything on football, for instance. Moreover, all the light will most often be on photographs I made. In fact, if I tell something I find worthwhile telling, I usually stick a few of my photographs to the story. You could almost say this is about photography, and in a way you're right, it is. But it is also about what I see.

I knew a young fellow who wanted to be part of an art event and, being short on funds, he joined with a couple of friends for an ingenious solution. They pooled their money and rented a large moving truck, then displayed their paintings along the interior of the truck. They got quite a lot of attention and a good turn out. The old story of necessity and invention.
That was a really good idea, too, getting a truck! Just park in front of those you would like to visit.
Jättekul! A nice change from the ordinary flicker and blog-presentations. In our times sometimes it’s just great to get something real, instead of the usual virtual shadows on the wall…
Indeed, Thomas, wouldn’t it be nice to do something like this for a chance? I think it’s brave.
