Full steam ahead

Full steam ahead

Full steam ahead, or whatever they said when they left the train station behind. Inspired by Earl and all his fantastic photographs on locomotives, I had to try out one for my self. This picture is of a mural sculpture on one of the museums here in Lund. Not that bad, eh, thought not being the real thing. :-)

Nice train, Ove. Looks like I’ll have to follow in Earl’s footsteps, too. Now, I just need to find a train! LOL!

Ok, you’ve out done me. Even I didn’t find a train made out of stone. :-)
    I like it!

It was fun to get inspired by Earl’s work and trying to make out something similar of it. Just for fun. I usually don’t do this, and there is much to learn this way. Since there were a discussions over at Earl’s blog how to best approach the trains, I just had to try out my own suggestion. Thanks!

  • Welcome to my blog about this and that – ditt & datt in Swedish. The topics you'll find here are not always that general, though. You wont find anything on football, for instance. Moreover, all the light will most often be on photographs I made. In fact, if I tell something I find worthwhile telling, I usually stick a few of my photographs to the story. You could almost say this is about photography, and in a way you're right, it is. But it is also about what I see.
