The warm colors and interesting textures make me want to explore for a while, but linger and sit in one of those comfy chairs to soak up the atmosphere. As Chris said, very peaceful looking. Soon, Charleston will do the opposite. The summer tourists will go back home in about 3 weeks, after the last summer holiday on September 7th, Labor Day. The beaches will empty. Downtown won't be so crowded, and it will be business as usual until next May. Although I don't really notice much difference north of the city where I live, I certainly like the beaches a lot better in the winter. Lots of calm, quiet, and wide open spaces! Mine!
